BATMASS Clustering Webinar

The first BATMASS Clustering Webinar took place on Friday 26th July. This webinar presented three ongoing projects within the battery ecosystem, with the aim of fostering synergies and potential collaborations.

Erwan Le Bourhis from N-ABLE presented the BATMASS project, focused on the creation of a circular battery valley in the EU for second life, recycling and re-manufacturing of materials and black mass. Eliana Quartarone from the University of Pavia discussed the RENOVATE project, which adopts a circular and chemically neutral approach to the recycling and recovery of waste batteries. Finally, José López Domínguez from CEN Solutions presented the Life ReLIGHT project, which focuses on the recycling of lithium-ion batteries for application in green hybrid technologies.

During the webinar, the Life ReLIGHT project, which focuses on the recycling of lithium-ion batteries for use in green hybrid technologies, was presented. José López Domínguez from CEN Solutions, detailed the progress and objectives of the project, highlighting its importance for sustainability and innovation in the field of renewable energy.

The event provided a valuable platform for the exchange of ideas and networking among participants, marking an important step towards a circular economy in the battery sector.
